eginning in the Professional Salon
Furnishings industry in 1975 has allowed for a broad and
continuous growth for Richard. Along with an A.A.
degree from Orange Coast College, the following
highlights define the current and ongoing status for
Richard: |
- 1975 - 1982 at The Belvedere Co.: Warehouse duties, Production
Control, and Office Manager.
- 1982- 1992 at Wilshire Beauty Supply: Sales, Design, and
procurement.
- 1992 - Present at Maly's: Sales, Design, and Service; initial
duties were to build sales with the Sales staff and stores
along with charting growth for new markets. Learning the
Maly's Way has redefined the caliber of commitment and quality
of service Richard passionately offers to each and every
customer of Maly's.
In addition, various design classes and
manufacturer's seminars have also broadened Richard's continued
growth to add further value to the relationships he and Maly's
are so deeply committed to. His mission is simply to do whatever
it takes to insure the success of Maly's loyal customers.

avid began his career in the beauty
industry in
1971 and has spent his entire time working and
learning in the Northern California Beauty market.
He has been a business owner and has held
management positions in sales, product
procurement, and salon furnishings. David's vast
experience in salon layout and design has helped many stylists
to realize
their dreams of owning their own salon.

From the beginning
conceptual stages to the final salon layout, David's extensive
industry knowledge and experience has proven to be a great
asset to his customers.
Gaining a unique industry perspective from
working for both furniture manufacturers and salon distributors,
David has honed his skills and talent to custom design innovative
and unique furniture to meet the specific needs of stylists.
In David's view, the most rewarding and important aspect
of his duties as a salon designer is working with stylists
to help them create a salon that reflects their personality
and talents. His listening, interpretive and creative skills,
along with attention to detail and business knowledge are
appreciated by his customers.
