It seems crazy... but at this point, our manufacturers do not allow the products to be sold over the Internet.

But why?

Don’t they know how big the Internet is?

They definitely do understand the vastness of the Internet, but our industry has a control problem. That is, often times our products get into the wrong hands, like grocery stores, drug stores, and discount stores. We obviously all want the products sold through salons only. But it is too hard to control the Internet. These products may not be purchased by legitimate consumers but rather diverters.

But I have seen other sites that sell these products on the Internet, what about them?

Our manufacturers are diligent about policing these sites, and they consider them diverters, in violation of the rules. Therefore, they have many pending lawsuits against these unauthorized sites. However, they continue to pop up every day.
